Sohrab Sepehri; Iranian poet, writer and painter was born in 1928 in Kashan. He is one of the most important contemporary poets of Iran and his poems have been translated into many languages including English, French, Spanish and Italian. Sohrab found his way with his active presence in the field of poetry and painting and created many works. He traveled to different countries and got acquainted with their culture and art (especially Oriental art) and held many exhibitions.

Sohrab Sepehri passed away in 1980 in Tehran, but according to Sohrab, death is not only the end of the road, but also the beginning for someone who leaves and even for those around him who stay. He writes about death as follows:

"And do not be afraid of death

Death is not the end of pigeons

"Death in the nature of the village night speaks of the morning ..."
