Amir Alaei was born in 1984. He graduated from Semnan University with a bachelor's degree in Graphic. Alaei has been working professionally in the field of Graphic and illustration for about eighteen years. He has participated in several domestic and foreign graphic and illustration exhibitions and won awards. Amir Alaei has collaborated with publications for sixteen years as an artistic director, such as: Center for Intellectual Development, Beh-Nashr, Backpack, Drop, Orange, Soroush, Amir Kabir, Qadiani, Alborz, Michka, Rozaneh, Scientific and Cultural, Surah Mehr, Preacher of education, Genesis, center, look, Academy of Arts, Aban, House of Literature, New Truth, School, Triangle, and magazines such as: Hamshahri Bacha, Nabat, Soroush, Roshd, etc. Artist's record: first person and special annual award for designing and executing a book in November 2015 in Iran. First person and special prize of the 16th Annual Illustration of Children and Adolescents Book 2013 Iran. Second place and silver award of JIA 2021 Japan Illustration Festival. Finalist at the Etisalat Awards for Arabic Children's Literature 2020 UAE. Selected at the 51st Belgrade Golden Pen Competition 2021 Serbia. Selected at the 2020 Ukrainian Cow Illustration Festival. Selected for the sixth biennial of illustration of the Iranian Children's Book Illustrators Association in 2013.
