    Allan Jaffee (born Abraham Jaffee, March 13, 1921) is an American cartoonist. His works in Mad comic magazine, including the brand design, Mad Fold-in, have been notable. Jaffee has been with the magazine continuously for 65 years and is the longest running association with them. Mad edition from August 2019, fold this old or new works of Johnny Sampson. jaffee officially retired at the age of 99 with the June 2020 edition acknowledging his efforts. In the half-century between April 1964 and April 2013, only one edition of Mad was published without Jaffee's work. In a 2010 interview, Jaffee said: Serious people my age are dead In 2008, Jaffee received the Ruben Award for Cartoonist of the Year. New Yorker cartoonist, Arnold Roth said that: Allan Jaffee is one of the greatest cartoonists of our time. The creator of Peanuts, Charles Schultz said about jaffee: Allan could draw cartoons for anything. Jaffee holds the Guinness World Record for the longest-serving comedy artist, holding the job from 1942 to 2020. Jaffee first appeared in fashion in 1955. In its next edition, Jaffee changed its format from comic to magazine. When magazine editor Harvey Kurtzman disagreed over the next three editions, Jaffee went with Kurtzman. jaffee collaborated with Kurtzman on the first two editions of Post Mad, Trump, and Humbug Creator. In 2008, a complete reprint of the first edition of Humbug was published as Fantagraphics in a two-volume set. The collection featured a new cover art commissioned by Jaffee and a joint interview with Jaffee and Arnold Roth. After Humbug went out of business in 1958, Jaffee gave his unpublished works to Mad, who bought them. jaffee says: Bill Jones destroyed Trump and Humbug. He invited me to his office, sat next to me on the sofa and flipped through the magazines and said, "Which job is yours?" When he saw my work, he hired me. As of 2019, Jaffee continues to collaborate with Fold-In for Mad, as well as doing artwork for articles. The last major release in June 2019 was Fold-In, a work originally rejected in June 2013 due to its sensitivity about gun violence. As of August 2019, Mad has released old fold-ins or the works of Johnny Sampson. In December 2019, Allan's original work was published in this journal for the last time. The works of the oldest associate of Mode, 500 works were published in the first 550 editions of the magazine, which was a unique collection. He said, "I work for a magazine that's aimed at young people, and I feel lucky that I've kept going because of them... I'm using the old cliché that I'm as old as a racehorse. When other horses are running, I want to run." In August 2008, Jaffee did an interview with NY1 about his work. "I'm surprised I'm still functioning at a relatively good level. Because there have been a lot of dark days, but you have to rebuild yourself. You have to get up and move again."
