Malekdadyar Garossian Born 1959 / Tehran He holds BA in sculptor from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Tehran University. After graduation, Garossian started teaching at the Faculty of Art of the Tehran University, along with the creation of artwork. Garossian seriously began making statues since 1988, and during these years, he has been awarded the Grand Prize of the Fajr International Arts Festival and the honorary doctorate in the field of sculpture from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. Malekdadyar Garossianhas won awards by making dozens of statues, busts and promote and participating in national and international competitions including: The first prize of biennial of Iranian sculpture and the first prize in the International narration competition of the story of Rostam and Sohrab. He has been vice-president Iranian sculptors association, a member of sculptor group pf Hoze-Honari, a member of Iranian sculptor and painters association, expert of beautification organization of Tehran municipality, a member of Registration of Artwork council, a member of the Artistic Policy Council of Hoze-Honari, a judge of national and international competitions and events such as the 6th and 7th Young Art Festival ...The participated in solo and group exhibitions and both domestic and international. The statues of "Hafez" in Tehran and " flautist Shepherd " in Isfahan are created by him.
