My name is Marc De Tollenaere, I’m a freelance photographer, and I live in Venice. I like to hold the Photo Tours in Venice very much, because it gives me the opportunity to share with you the emotions that only this city can give! My work as a teacher of photography for the most famous brand of cameras, Leica, makes me proud. In fact, in 2014 I became a member of the very selective group of tutors of the Leica Akademie, and since then I am Leica Ambassador and Certified by Leica too. Photography is my life, and before I became a professional, I studied with some of the greatest photographers of the international scene, master such as Alex Majoli (Magnum Photos), Kent Kobersteen (Photo editor at National Geographic), Bob Sacha (photographer at Life, Fortune, National Geographic), and many others. After this, I published several books about Venice and its countryside, as well as on countless newspapers and magazines. Starting from 2010, up to nowadays, I set many photo workshops, in Venice, of which I like to think I have a through knowledge, and is several others countries such as India, Nepal, Vietnam, Cambodia, Burma, Turkey and Iceland.
